Flat-pack furniture

The Ikea Vika Artur. A useful piece of kit. It is so much easier for me to lug around the trestles and table top separately than as one whole unit.

They take just five minutes to assemble.

And 45 minutes to find where R had hidden the Allen key.

Sigh.

  1. I keep coming across things and wondering what on earth they are (mainly electrical looking stuff) and when I actually search for something specifically, I can never find it. Think I just need to go through one room at a time, sorting as I go ...

well done for finding it xx

  2. It's a long, slow process even when you get started - the sort of thing that takes many passes.
One day I'll post some pictures of R's electrical kit and we can compare notes to see who has the biggest pile of stuff they haven't a clue what to do with.
I will certainly never run out of cable clips....

  4. Oh, I'm constantly asking my husband where things are, or how to use the TV remote. Not that he's in trouble. But you never, ever know.
I think I know where the tools are. Some.

  5. Well done to you for finding it so quickly -- even though it was me who hid it, I'd certainly take longer to find mine than that.

In the meantime, perhaps it's always useful to have at least half a dozen Allen keys. Because once you're reinvigorated like this, you'll simply never know when an Ikea mood is going to strike.

    Good on yer.
